Dear One,
I am writing to remind you of things you already know. What you see is what you get. Your perception of the world shapes your reality. It is not just the world shaping your perception.
What this means is that how you interpret things matters. One person approaching a river sees danger. Another person sees the water as a polluted stream or a weapon or a source of potential energy or a place of natural beauty or something that could quench their thirst or water in which they could wash. Incidentally, the fish in the river see it as home.
The beliefs you formed in childhood create your worldview now, so it is important to question your beliefs. Inquiries such as the following can be informative:
Is the way I see the world serving me?
Does it create peace in my life, comfort in my body, and harmony with others?
Or does my worldview lead to discord, anxiety, and defensiveness?
Awareness fosters the ability to choose. You can see through the eyes of Love or through the eyes of fear. When you look through the lens of fear, you see danger. When you look through the lens of Love, you see opportunity. What you see is what you get.
Remember, this moment is an opportunity to connect to Love and so to live into the fullness of who you are.
