Dear One

Dear One,

I am writing to remind you of things you already know. It is very important to be part of a loving, supportive community. Communities may take many forms. In addition to your family and friends, examples may include a group of people with whom you share a common interest and with whom you meet regularly, such as an exercise or workout meet-up, a quilting group, clubs of various kinds, a scripture study, a scrap-booking collective, a yoga class, a sports team, a charitable organization, or a church.

Being in community gives you a sense of belonging and an opportunity to contribute. It also gives you a place to turn when times are rough, a place where you know that you are not alone.

When times are challenging, it’s important to utilize your resources so that you may have optimum care. Take the time to consider what resources are in place for you now. Do you see a chiropractor, physical therapist, or acupuncturist monthly to keep your body in balance? Are you availing yourself regularly of a support group, counselor, or spiritual director? Have you cultivated close ties with a community who will support you emotionally? Invest in your self-care now so that these resources will be readily available when you need them the most. Your life matters.

Remember, this moment is an opportunity to connect to Love and so to live into the fullness of who you are.

As always, do what best awakens you to Love,

Your Inner Wisdom
