Love, prepare our hearts each day to live out the gospel of peace!

Dear One,

I am writing to remind you of things you already know. How you start your day matters.

Christmas is a birthday celebration honoring Jesus, whose gospel is peace and love. However, advent, the period prior to Christmas, is not a time of waiting for a party to begin. Its mystical symbolism is much deeper than that. Advent is a season of intentional openness and receptivity for how Christ, the Love within you, is being birthed in your own life.

This process of birth is a daily preparation of conscious connection to your values and integrity, the Mind of Christ within you. Without this intentional yoking each day, it is easy to get distracted.

What are the common things that may kidnap your attention? The culprits are numerous, some of which are: a desire for acquisition and personal promotion; taking offense and projecting blame; and feelings of fear, apathy, guilt, shame, craving, or anger. Preparing the way for Love requires an ordering of priorities.

Remember, this moment is an opportunity to connect to Love, and therefore, to live into the fullness of who you are.

As always, do what best awakens you to love,

Your Inner Wisdom
