The Light You Are
It is a peaceful morning on the porch;
blue jays hoping in the pines
the predictable rooster crowing his greeting,
a matronly avian perched on a post,
neat webs of lace hovering above the grass
and laden with dew.
An ethereal effect is veiling the trees,
cast by the mist slowly vanishing.
It is delightful to watch as the sun makes his presence known
in intangible rays of light.
There is no physicality to radiance,
but it can be embodied as
the illuminating Presence of Love.
