From Grey to Blue
It is a bright, crisp morning,
the daily genre reflecting a change from grey to blue.
A flock of birds is diving patterns in the distance,
and a healthy blaze is burning on the firepit.
Blue to grey, and back to blue again,
the movement of our lives.
Clinging to clear blue doesn’t forestall grey,
and resisting grey, doesn’t create blue.
Each day presents itself to be loved,
as it is,
without judgment of imperfections,
just like you and me.
