Poems From The Porch

Including Myself

The last day of September is . . .

the only day there is for me

to let go of the need to control things

and the need to manage the emotions of others.

is . . .

the only day there is for me

to know that I am loved and valued

without seeking that validation from others

or needing them to approve of my behavior.

is . . .

the only day there is for me

to find security in the fact of my existence

and in the abundant provision that is freely given.

The last day of September is . . .

the only day there is for me

to have faith that all things are working together for good

and that there is a natural order

to the processes of implosion and evolution.

is . . .

the only day there is for me

to have hope because there is no doer but our Benevolent Universe

and everything belongs.

is . . .

the only day there is for me

to have the opportunity to love generously and unconditionally

everyone and everything,

including myself.
