A Call To Worship

The bird choir is singing as I enter

the tabernacle of the porch.

The chimes ring a call to worship.

I light incense and a candle,

placing the flame in its stained-glass holder.

Relaxed and expectant,

I open my mind and heart to

soak in the sacred scripture

that is this world.
