Only a small patch of yellow is illuminated by the morning sun.
Nearby, the purple wildflowers are a spectacle of reflecting radiance.
Love does that, just like the sun,
enlightens and reveals the inherent glory of all creation.
How people sparkle and glow in the warmth of Love’s gaze!
And I know how it feels to be the bearer of such a gift,
and also to be the vulnerable beggar,
who receives such lavish provision.
So, I hope that my adoring eyes will enliven the yellow beauties
until the generous rays remind them of their luminous loveliness.
