Puddles bubbling drops on their surface
Wet earth saturated with potential
Mocking birds seeking shelter under branches
Rain purring rhythmically on tin
Warm feline love pouring generously
Grief hiding hope
Simple presence awakening it
Life, death, re-birth
Here, there, everywhere
What does rain look like from space?
Can the stars see planets weeping,
seeds perceive the action of sprouting,
or petals feel themselves blooming?
To be a participant in the body of God,
to be a contributor in the cell that is the earth,
finding meaning in just this,
grateful for my part in the becoming,
zooming out and further still
to behold the solar systems and galaxies,
the sparkling universes upon universes,
knowing that Love is the compelling force
in this eternal, fractal birthing
is the holy advent of wonder.
Dear friend,
May your mind be peaceful and calm,
may your body be relaxed and comfortable,
and may your heart be filled with love.
Thank you for reading.
Blessings and gratitude,
Ani
