Breathing deeply of this moment,
I am anticipating the instant
when the sun will awaken
and cast its dazzling rays on the frost.
Light is required for the shimmer.
Beauty is waiting to be revealed—eternally in potential—
until the warm gaze of another
illuminates what was always there,
sees and notices,
smiles to the particularities
of a soul’s manifestation on this earth,
whose glory is celebrated
and reflected back to itself
by Love seeing Love.
